Nesta quinta-feira (12), foi anunciada a lista dos indicados a 70ª edição do Emmy Awards, apresentado pela atriz Samira Wiley (The Handmaid’s Tale) e Ryan Eggold (New Amsterdam). O presidente e CEO da Academia de Artes e Ciências Televisivas, Hayma Washington também esteve presente na cerimônia.
As séries mais indicadas neste ano são Game of Thrones (22 indicações), Westworld (21 indicações), The Handmaid’s Tale (20 indicações). Também tivemos indicações de Glow, Stranger Things, Atlanta, The Crown, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel e outros. Na categoria de melhor atriz em série dramática, Sandra Oh é a primeira atriz asiática a ser indicada ao Emmy com a série Killing Eve.

O Emmy Awards 2018 acontece no dia 17 de setembro no Microsoft Theater em Los Angeles, e será exibida simultaneamente com os Estados Unidos pelo canal TNT. A cerimônia será apresentada por Michael Che e Colin Yost, escritores do Saturday Night Live e apresentadores do Weekend Update.
